East Croydon
This sign beside the Down Slow line at East Croydon marks the commencement of a site of known low rail adhesion. (Photo taken 18 May 2006)

This South West Trains car stop marker at the south end of Brockenhurst station denotes the stopping position for multiple unit trains composed of ten to twelve cars. Below this is a Cab Secure Radio (CSR) channel code reminder sign showing channel code "42", combined with an alias plate showing the radio identification number "1013", which applies only to the line on the left. The sign with the leaf symbol alerts drivers to the presence of a low rail adhesion site between this station and the next. (Photo taken 24 September 2010)
